1. Using this website

• The website is here to tell you about our service and to help you reach us. You may use it for that purpose and not to copy, scrape, disrupt, or misuse it.
• Prices and details shown on the site are typical, offered in good faith, and can change. The price that counts is the one we give you at your property before we start.
• The text, photos, and logo on this site belong to Stump Grinding Cheap LLC. Do not reuse them without asking.
• The site links to other businesses and platforms (for example our partners and our social media pages). We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
• The website is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available but make no warranty that it always will be, and we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the website itself rather than on a quote we gave you in person.

2. Estimates and quotes

• We quote in person. To price a job accurately we need to see the stump and the area around it. Photos are not enough.
• Estimates are free, and we come ready to work. We bring the equipment to your property, and the cheapest price you will get is when we can grind on that first visit.
• The quote is for grinding right then. We do not quote a tree that is still standing; call us once it is down and out of the way.
• How we measure.A stump’s size is the average distance across it at ground level. An average 16-inch stump is $33; a minimum may apply to each stop, and a stump twice the diameter is nearly four times the wood, so it costs more than double.
• Narrow access. A 36-inch gate adds an $88 labor charge. An opening of 57 inches or wider carries no extra labor.
• Exclusive offers. 10% off for military and senior citizens, and up to 20% off for a large volume of stumps, as described on our offers page.

3. Scheduling

• We run a route. The night before, we line up every stop, and we work them one by one, so we cannot promise a clock time in advance.
• We call the number you gave us when we finish the customer directly ahead of you, with the exact time we will arrive.
• If you are scheduled for a day, we come that day, rain or shine. If something like an equipment failure causes a major delay, we call that day to reschedule.
• In most cases we can be there within a day or two, not on Sunday.

4. The work

• Depth. We grind to about six inches below grade so grass can grow and roots do not poke up and damage a mower.
• No debris removal. We do not haul away or clean up the grindings. That is how our prices stay as low as they are; you are paying for the use of the machine.
• What we grind. Most organic material: stumps, roots, palm stumps, palmettos, and shrubbery. Please cut the green off palmettos and shrubbery before we arrive; leaves, sticks, and vines wrap around the equipment instead of grinding.
• Tall stumps. We bring a chainsaw and can cut trees or stumps 12 feet or shorter.
• Roots only. We can grind just the roots of a living tree, but we cannot guarantee the safety of that tree. It could fall or die.
• Close quarters. Our equipment is remote controlled, which lets us work close to homes and fences; whether a particular spot can be done is decided when we see it.

5. Payment

• You approve the price and sign before we start, and we accept cash, check, or credit card.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the Florida county where the work was done.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the effective date at the top, is the one in force.
